Weekend Round UP

Hectic weekend across the grades, codes and even genders!

here’s my round up and it’s packed!!

JFC
The Plunketts have finally reached the junior final after years of frustration. The yshowed their mettle yesterday in getting over the trickey Togher men. The Mell side will face Tullyallens finest in the final. The Glen Emmetts have gone about their business quite nicely this season under the radar too. Should be a great final the 14th of this month.

IFC
You thought the Donegal win yesterday was a shock? well it had nothing on our intermediate championship. Fechins were pushed all the way by the Mochta’s on Friday night. While Saturday was packed full of shocks Glyde defeated the fancied Clans while the Joes swept Hunterstown aside, not an overly big surprise but the manner in which they did was….8goals in a freak result on the night!
SOM Brides game was off due to a bereavement.

SFC
The Jocks and O’Raghallaigh’s secured senior Championship status also.
Losers Kilkerley and O’Connells decide their faith next weekend.

Hurling
It was confirmed Pearse Og will face Knockbridge in the Louth Senior Hurling final before the junior football decider.
Our Under 14’s are All-ireland C Champions also!

Ladies
3 Championship finals took place yesterday in Castlebellingham
Mattock won the junior B

Kilkerley won Junior A!!

Pats won Intermediate!
