1 team of the week

Last line

Kilkerley winning goalie Rian Hand kick outs were crucial for them all season.
Solid as a rock all day long, Kevin Toner surprised he never switched to pick up Ben McLaughlin.
Given the task of pick up Conor Crawley and Darren O’Hanlon didn’t give him a sniff.

Half Back Line
wing9
Brothers Ray Finnegan, Dessie Finnegan and Owen Zamboglou
We’ll take this line as a collective, solid and hardworking and not only that covered every blade of grass.
Impenetrable.

Had to throw three players in here.
PK Amazing performance, his left footed free shows his class, his high fielding was on view too. just a highlight reel of a game for him.
The reason for 3 players here was Billy Smith. His excellent performance forced his way in despite being on a losing side.
Eamonn Breen, PK’s weekly training sparring partner should be considered for Louth next season.

Forward Line

Never stopped all day but we knew that about Aidan McCann. his smartness and finishing he showed everyone on national TV.
The main man from Kilkerley Shane Lennon top scored for the intermediate champions saturday night.
The man who makes the Pats tick, that man is Karl White. tick times 7.

Lively and classy operator Ben McLaughlin, could still be lost to soccer but a special talent for the SOM.
Dipped in and out of the game with great force Eoin O’Connor and his side kick Danny O’Connor were a constant threat inside all day long.

So there ya have it, team of the week.

Anonymous is right about Kurt Murphy but then again the Pats defence was so on top its hard to leave any out.

thought Karl White had a poor game and McLaughlin scored a good long-range point but i thought Pats had him well looked after.

Billy Smith was Clan’s best player and would do well in Senior football.

thought SOM’s best player was either Nixon or Finnegan.

Kurt Murphy had a great game and had O’connor in his pocket for 95% of that game. that’s a fact

Thanks for your comment but the Pats are Louth Senior Champions, it could have been more than 11 players to be honest.

gh, It’s not a real team that will line out to play, its hypothetical…

....... October 6, 2015 at 3:11 pm

Joke of the week!!!

You still haven’t a notion. Since when would you line out a team that way. No wonder Louth football’s in a mess with gobshites like you commentating.

no harm but seriously 11 out of the 15 are pats men surely some others from the other 3 teams done well and i’m a neutral but that seems biased
