Star Player: The Team
With no stand out players or inter county players on their side their Star quality is made up from an undeniably strong team ethic.

I’ll go through their team to illustrate.

Defence
Captain Gregory Grogan is their inspiration at full back and may be rugged enough in his honesty to cause Conor Crawley problems.

Eamon Towey steadies the ship at centre back _twoey
and Maurice Connaughton is an outlet and dynamic player going forward for them.
_wingback
Midfield
James Connaughton (below) has returned from injury and he floats from the forty to Midfield.

The constant in the middle for them is the talented Ross Timothy

_tumilty
while the tall presence of Brian Mullin _brianmullin great name for a midfielder has played there too

but all in all they are very fluid in middle third.

Attack

But it’s up front where Croan’s have improved this season and in particular the Smyth brothers, Shane (Left) and Kevin (Right),
Kevin playes on the wing andis there lethal free taker. but as you’d expect they link up very well in attack.

I mentioned recently about the fluidity of the middle three this is due to Aidan Brogan, he’s an emerging Roscommon minor and his driving runs on the forty has forced Croans hand.
_aidanBrogan He’s worth keeping an eye on.

Last but not least Their best player is Michael Holland he’s lively and their focal point of every attack at full forward.

Verdict:
In my opinion the O’Mahony’s have faced and beat tougher teams so far this season.

But, alot of Sunday’s game will be in the head like majority of semi finals the eye can be taken off the ball and the here and now can be over looked for the Big day out in Croke park.

The O’Mahonys need to forget about Croke Park for 60 odd minutes and concentrate on supplying their impressive forward line.

I think they are mentally strong enough to do this and should prevail.

Wish them the best of Luck below
