Leinster Minor Quarter final 3pm Saturday
at home to the old enemey Meath, Perfect.
The last day out these lads gave the whole county a boost.
Their win over Kildare was well earned and in doing so showed alot of character.
That’s where talk of the last day ends.
As all of that goodwill will count for very little come 3pm today.
As we all know, Meath fairly well know how to take the sting out of teams feeling good about themselves.
Meath beat Laois by 6 (1-17 to 2-08) the last day out so they’ll not be lacking confidence either.
They’ll come into Drogheda with no fears and relish taking us on away from home.
With no injuries to report from the team that started the last day I’m sure it will be the same 15 again.
The performance of our midfield was crucial the last day, Ronan Jones will be tough opposition while Thomas O’Reilly from the Wolfe Tones is highly dangerous on the forty.
We’ll look to supply Tadhg and Ross again and if we do so, we’ll be in with a chance and with an ace or two up our sleeves come game time I feel really good about our chances.
Best of Luck lads
In case some Meath people or management are reading this I’ll keep the aces quiet.
