Louth were worthy winners in tonights Leinster League match against Tipperary at McGeough Park in Haggardstown.
Two well organised teams played a fast, tough and competitive game. There was some good end to end football played and the final score did not tell the full story.
Tipperary may well rue the chance to take points instead of going for goal yet may be considered unlucky for not finding the back of the net.
Louth, too missed some easy frees and also had two very good opportunities to find the net.
