In response with shanes post.
Blues are riddled with ordinary players such as moore, carter, farrell, downey & connolly? That alone is the biggest load of bull I have heard all year the blues didn’t have one full team to pick from this year always missing a few they have other key players or ordinary players whatever suits you but the main thing about the blues is that they don’t play as individuals like most clubs they are team that could and hope go the whole way. They have the Mary’s next Thursday night in newfoundwell the blues beat them in the league just about I must say so this will be a tough game for the blues and from speaking to a few of the players there not taking the Mary’s for granted they and I know things could go way words especially with R.Rooney in top flight and Conor.L back for the Mary’s who missed the league match him and Moore will be a great battle around the middle. But I honestly think that the blues have to much fire power in young and up coming J.Kelly and JMCD kicking pts for fun and the goal machine himself Al Wilton. Looking forward to what should be a cracker,
Is it true that Ryan Burns is going to America soon and that Ross Nally is not playing this summer ?
In response the Brian Maguire’s post,
They blues are riddled with very ordinary players like James Carter and Conor Farrell. John Connolly, Conor Moore and Ciaran Downey hide this fact. At u14 and u16 level the Geraldines have always been very poor in the league, but they won the championship in both years!! Quite a few of these lads also host minor medals so I back them, with Mellifont and the blues ‘potentially’ challenging. I agree that the Mochtas will win B championship even with the Martin’s competing, however Roche could rattle them first round as Caoimhin Reilly, Evin Quigley and Emmet Hughes are fine talents. Sam Mulroy, Conor Healy, Hugh Osbourne, Conor Lenehan and Eoghan Dillon are also top young players and could be stern hurdles for their respective clubs v Mochtas, but Larney, Kindlon, Lennon and Callan should see them progress!
MelliFont all the way very strong side this year
My moneys on D blues for the champo dis year, with a strong squad and louth minors like j connolly and james carter dey should do well! Gers will put in a gud challenge, irelanders just dont have d firepower!
Close shout between martins nd mochs for B champ, martins r big and strong but mochtas have class in d lennon and u larney.
Pity about no C champ, some teams with good players who shud be playing a higer level (lenehan) (osbourne)
My money’s on Cooley
O;Mahoneys v NaPiarsaigh winners vN/ Martin
They are top of Division 3 so I presume they are in the B championship
cooley to cause an upset
mon the marys!!!
Blues and Plunketts matches will be refixed.. Joeys grad is on that night.. Where’s Naomh Martin?
It will be very interesting
