Some decent individual performances but defensively absolutely SHOCKING!!!All 3 of full back line very poor
And just to answer CK post match interview question: I would prefer to loose 0-13 to 0-12 as it is better than loosing 3-14 to 0-16 by 6 points.
It pains me to say it but modern day inter county football starts with a defensive setup with bodies behind the ball when not in possession and holding positions that are drilled in training. It’s noble to try and compete by playing a very offensive game but not worth a shit if you want to compete. What is it going to take for the penny to drop, relegation to division 5 if it existed. Tactically not at the races. This is not a critism of the management as like all Louth Gaels, I want to see a competitive Louth team but if we keep persisting with a game plan that was ok in the 80’s, we may prepare for more disappointment and through the concession of huge scores. The stats indicated that yesterday was a game for the taking but it was over with 15 minutes to go. Wise up lads !!
Some good individual displays yesterday but as a team we didn’t seem to have a plan? Very naive in defence!
depressing is not the word tactically our manager is the culprit
