Congratulations to Naomh Fionnbarra’s last man standing champion for 2017 Shane Connor! Entering week 7 of the competition there were 7 contestants remaining and the breakdown of the picks for this week was as follows: Cavan – 3, Clare – 1, Cork – 2, Dublin – 1. Following Roscommon’s victory over Cavan, Cork’s draw with Down, Meath victory over Clare it meant that Dublins victory over Monaghan gave Shane the plaudits for this year’s competition and he is the worthy recipient of our first prize of €200. As 6 people were eliminated together on the last week there will be a draw for 2nd place of €100 later on in the week. Naomh Fionnbarra would like to once again thank everyone who entered the competition and everyone who helped to sell tickets and make the competition a huge success.
