One of our own is gone.
We’re a tight bunch see, we’re a small selected bunch, connected by a leather football.
And all around the county this week we’ve felt it.
Watching the senior final on Sunday you see lads missing shots and felt their pain.
We all felt the elation and joy at the final whistle.
So when the news broke on Tuesday morning, we all felt it.
We’ve all felt the death of Eamonn badly.
You see, we all go through the same emotions and this week is no different.
The highest of highs and the lowest of lows, life is precious.
RIP Finch,
you’ll be missed.
As a Competitor, as a Gentleman and as a Champion.
